Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

All Star Events & Inflatables holds £5 million Public Liability Insurance.
This insurance covers All Star Events & Inflatables against claims arising from injury or damage caused by faulty equipment or incorrect or unsafe set-up by our staff.
Please note, this insurance does not cover misuse, negligence, or failure to follow safety instructions by the hirer or users.

Will you deliver, set up, and collect the bouncy castle?

Yes. Delivery, set-up, and collection are all included in the price quoted.

What happens on the day of hire?

Please ensure the area where the inflatable will be set up is completely clear of:

  • Debris

  • Animal waste

  • Children’s toys

  • Garden furniture or obstacles

For domestic bookings, we require clear side or rear access to your garden.
⚠️ For insurance reasons, we do not carry equipment through houses.

How much notice do I need to make a booking?

You can book at any time, but we strongly recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred inflatable and date.
Last-minute bookings are sometimes available, subject to availability.
For a quicker response, we recommend contacting us by telephone.

Will my inflatable arrive on time?

Our drivers work to a strict delivery schedule. However, unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or road incidents may cause delays.
We have backup equipment, vehicles, and staff available in case of emergencies.
If our driver is more than 15 minutes late, please contact us and we will investigate the delay.

Where can you set up a bouncy castle?

  • Outdoor setups: Grass only

  • Indoor setups: All indoor venues are acceptable

We cannot set up on:

  • Artificial/astro grass

  • Gravel, pebbles, sand, soil

  • Hard surfaces such as concrete, tarmac, or block paving

For safety reasons, inflatables must be securely anchored into the ground.

We only set up in private gardens with side or rear access.
We do not set up in communal gardens.

Do I need to provide anything?

We supply all necessary equipment, including:

  • The inflatable

  • Safety mats (where required)

  • Pegs and/or sandbags

  • Extension leads

  • Inflation fan

You must provide access to a 240V mains power supply within 40 metres of the inflatable.

How does the bouncy castle stay inflated?

The inflatable is powered by an electric blower, which must remain switched on at all times while the castle is in use.

How long does set-up and pack-down take?

  • Set-up: approximately 15 minutes

  • Pack-down: approximately 20 minutes
Times may vary depending on location and inflatable size.

How much space do I need?

Space requirements depend on the inflatable, but as a general guide:

  • 5ft clearance at the front and rear

  • 2ft clearance on each side

  • 3ft wide clear access for delivery

The area must be free from sharp objects, animal waste, rubbish, garden tools, and furniture. Grass should be cut and not excessively long.

For indoor venues, the ceiling height must be at least 1ft higher than the inflatable.

Due to weight and size, we cannot carry inflatables up flights of stairs. One or two steps may be manageable with assistance.

⚠️ Equipment is not carried through houses.

How long do I get the inflatable for?

We aim to deliver and collect at times that suit you. Deliveries start from 7am.
Later collections can be arranged where possible.

Can we keep the inflatable overnight?

Yes, overnight hire is available at an additional cost.
The inflatable must be available for collection the following morning, and we ask that it is inflated prior to collection to allow any overnight dew to dry.

The hirer is responsible for:

  • Any damage to the inflatable or accessories

  • Any loss of earnings while repairs are carried out

The location must be secure and well-lit.
All Bounce Surrey reserves the right to refuse overnight hire at any time.

What is the age limit for children’s castles?

Children’s inflatables have a maximum age limit of 12 years (subject to size).
There is no minimum age.
Users over 12 years will require an adult inflatable.

What happens in poor weather?

Most inflatables include a sun/rain cover and can be used in light showers.
Inflatables must not be used in:

  • Heavy rain

  • Strong winds

The recommended maximum operating wind speed is 38 km/h (Force 5 on the Beaufort Scale).

If poor weather is forecast, we may contact you in advance to discuss options.
If the inflatable is set up, full payment is required and no refunds are offered due to weather.
If we cancel due to safety or insurance reasons, we will attempt to rebook you on another suitable date.

What should we do if it rains heavily after set-up?

  • Ask all users to exit the inflatable

  • Switch off the blower

  • Cover the inflatable with the tarpaulin provided

Once the rain stops, dry the surface thoroughly before allowing use again to prevent slipping.

Do you hire outdoors all year round?

No. We do not offer outdoor hires between November and March.
Please contact us closer to your date to discuss weather conditions.

Where do you deliver?

How do I pay?
