TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE Safety Instructions for Inflatable Play Equipment It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to prevent injury or damage to the inflatable. The following safety instructions must be followed at all times: This inflatable has an age limit of (to be specified by the owner) years. No person over this age may use the equipment. No food or drink is to be consumed on the inflatable, to prevent choking and avoid mess. All shoes, badges, and jewellery (including large earrings, necklaces, etc.) must be removed before use. It is strongly recommended that spectacles are also removed. Face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers, and “silly string” must not be used on or near the inflatable, as they can cause permanent staining. Smoking is strictly prohibited near the inflatable. Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls of the inflatable is dangerous and must not be allowed. A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at all times. The inflatable must not be overcrowded. User numbers should be limited according to the age and size of the children. If children are colliding with each other, the unit is overcrowded. Where possible, avoid allowing large and small children to use the inflatable at the same time. Some children may require closer supervision. If the inflatable is not in use, it may be switched off and restarted when required. Inflation takes approximately one minute. Users must not bounce on the step or front apron. This area is provided solely to assist with entering and exiting the inflatable. Anyone with a history of back or neck problems must not use the inflatable. No one is permitted on the inflatable during inflation or deflation. For health and safety reasons, we do not set up in heavy rain or if rain is forecast for the entire day. For health and safety reasons, we do not set up in windy conditions. Damage and Cleaning Charges The hirer is fully responsible for the equipment during the hire period. Any damage caused to the inflatable or associated equipment will be charged for in full. If the equipment is returned in a dirty condition, or requires additional cleaning due to misuse (including food, drink, face paint, mud, or other substances), a minimum cleaning charge from £50.00 will apply. Cancellation Policy Bookings may be cancelled at any time; however, the £25 deposit paid to secure the booking is non-refundable and non-transferable. We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to unsafe weather conditions, including wind speeds or gusts exceeding the legal limit of 24mph, or persistent rain or thunderstorms. Any such decision will be discussed with the client in the lead-up to the event. DISCLAIMER All persons using the inflatable do so entirely at their own risk. The person or organisation hiring the equipment accepts full responsibility for any injury or damage resulting from misuse or reckless behaviour. These safety guidelines are provided for the protection of all users, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are strictly followed. Our company accepts no liability for any injury sustained while using the equipment.
